FORTNITE LADDER

Published by Diomedes 15 days ago

Firstly, we just wanted to say thank you for being so patient, but we should make one thing clear…

This is not our new 2018 esports platform and this is not the start of the Fortnite competitive season. Custom games have still not been released yet but this is a good alternate where you can practice [with your duo] in a competitive environment.

We expect to change to our new website sometime in February. When we do, ladder records will be reset, and we will start Spring Season 1. We encourage you to practice with your duo and perfect your in-game techniques in the meantime, because when we do start Season 1 there will be prizes for the winning teams.

Before we go any further, lets just clear up what exactly competitive ladders are…

“Ladders are a type of competition where members play matches against each other and move up and down in the ranking as they win or lose. Ladders make 1-on-1 games more engaging, competitive and fun.”

You can find the full rules to the Fortnite ladders here.

How do you signup to the ladder? Need additional help? Watch the video guide here.

How can you play ladder matches if there are no custom games?

1v1

Players from both teams should add each other on PSN/XBL/Epic Games, create a party and play the Duo gamemode. The player with the most kills in the match will be declared Champion. Final placements are not considered unless the match is a tie-game.

2v2

Players from both teams should add each other on PSN/XBL/Epic Games, create a party and play the Squad gamemode. The duo with the most kills in the match will be declared Champion. Final placements are not considered unless the match is a tie-game.

What is best of 1, best of 3, best of 5 and so on?

A best of one game means that you and your opponents play one game of Fortnite: Battle Royale. In other words, both players join the lobby and play one game of Fortnite; the team with the most kills wins the match. A best of three game simply means you play three games of Battle Royale and the team that wins two games out of three, wins the match. Again, the same idea is used for a best of five game - five games of Fortnite will be played.

False Reporting / Disputing

If you lose your game, please fairly report your loss. If you report incorrectly or dispute on purpose, all that is going to happen, is that your account will be banned and you'll miss out the start of Season 1 with prizes & miss out on all our upcoming tournaments and leagues (and you'll still receive the loss}.

Tournaments will be ran following the same format and system, until at lesat, custom games are released.

We wish to stress again that this is simply an alternative method to competing while we wait for custom matchmaking to be released. This is not our much anticipated Fortnite System – but we thought you guys may enjoy playing these while we wait!

P.S. Check out this video on how to submit proof for ladder matches.
